Founded in 2004, the Escondido Education Foundation is the only nonprofit dedicated to bringing in outside dollars for our children in Escondido's elementary and middle school classrooms. Because of the dedication and involvement of Carilyn Gilbert in Escondido's schools, the Gilbert Family recognizes the long-term need for school funding and wanted to establish the endowment in honor of Carilyn. Program funds will go toward art, music, technology, physical education, sports and literacy projects through yearly grants to teachers. The Carilyn Gilbert Endowment is invested with the San Diego Foundation, a nonprofit partner of the Escondido Education Foundation. To make a donation to the Carilyn Gilbert Endowment Fund, print the form and mail or contact Linda Bailey, (760) 432-2392. |

| Founded
in 2004, the Escondido Education Foundation is the only nonprofit dedicated
to bringing in outside dollars for our children in Escondido's elementary and
middle school classrooms. Jack Raymond, founding board member of the Escondido Education Foundation, has established the Peggy Raymond Reading Endowment in honor of his mother, a long-time educator in Escondido. Jack established the literacy and library priority for the endowment for many reasons; 1) library funding has been cut drastically in our schools, 2) his mother was a master reading teacher, and, 3) Reading is the key to it all. The Peggy Raymond Reading Endowment is invested with the San Diego Foundation, a nonprofit partner of the Escondido Education Foundation. To make a donation to the Peggy Raymond Reading Endowment Fund, print the form and mail or contact Jodie Eichberger (760) 432-2362. |
