What We Do
Endowments, Opportunities for Giving, Make a Donation, Mini-Grants, Grant Opportunities.

General Fund
The General Fund encompasses a broad variety of enrichments programs such as art, music, literacy, physical education, sports and technology. These learning programs are for the benefit of all children in the Escondido Union School District. The funds are directed towards helping students achieve success and a high level of self-esteem.

Carilyn Gilbert Endowment Fund
Carilyn Gilbert, a long time teacher and School Board Trustee in the Escondido Union School District , dedicated her life to the learning process. This endowment was started by the Gilbert Family to further her lifelong work, and continue her mission to facilitate learning in our schools.

Peggy Raymond Reading Endowment
The Peggy Raymond Reading Endowment will focus on literacy and libraries in our schools. The endowment was created by Jack Raymond, in memory of his mother, Margaret Raymond, a long time educator in the Escondido Union School District. Mr. Raymond has made this a challenge grant by matching donations up to $5,000. The endowment both encourages and supports reading inside and outside the classroom. After all, reading is the key to success.

Mini-Grants to Teachers
This year, the Escondido Education Foundation awarded over $20,000 to 58 teachers of the Escondido Union School District. Please help us to continue to provide assistance to Escondido Union School District teachers by contributing to this important program.

Matching Funds Program
Many companies have a Matching Funds Programs and will match dollar for dollar your gift to the Foundation. Please contact your Human Resources department to find out if your company participates in this wonderful program.

United Way Contributions
If you work place contributes to United Way Programs, you can designate the Escondido Education Foundation as your local beneficiary. These funds go directly to the Foundation, and it is a great way to contribute. The Escondido Education Foundation 's United Way contribution number is 625385.

In-Kind Donations
Your gifts of time and other resource are very welcome. Please contact the Foundation for further information
